Mrs. Shikha is a graduate and social worker with a strong commitment to the development, welfare and empowerment of children and young athletes through sport.
As the President of the Boxing Development Federation of India (BDFI), she brings a positive, progressive and people-focused vision to the organization. She believes that boxing can play an important role in building discipline, confidence, fitness, character and leadership among young people.
Her vision is particularly focused on creating better opportunities for children and aspiring boxers, supporting their sporting journey and encouraging them to pursue their goals with dedication and confidence.
With her social outlook and commitment to youth development, Mrs. Shikha aims to contribute to a stronger and more inclusive boxing environment where talented young athletes can receive encouragement, guidance and opportunities to progress.
She is committed to working with coaches, athletes, clubs and stakeholders to promote the growth of boxing and help create a brighter future for the next generation of Indian boxers.
